Indian Lower House Speaker to visit Cambodia from 21-24 April

Phnom Penh: National Assembly President Heng Samrin said that the Speaker of the Lower House of the Republic of India (Lok Sabha) Mr. Om Birla will pay a visit to Cambodia from 21-24 April 2022.

Speaking at a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Tuesday morning, 12 April 2022, President of National Assembly requested the General Secretariat of the National Assembly and relevant institutions to co-host the official visit and friendship of the Speaker of the Lower House of the Republic of India (Lok Sabha) which lasts for 3 days.

Om Birla is an Indian politician who is the 17th President and Speaker of the lower house of the Republic of India Lok Sabha. Prior to entering parliament, he was elected three times in the Rajasthan State Assembly and is currently a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party of India.
